We will assign to you some terrific techniques for managing them and then deploying them out into the real world.

We love working with men, but you may also know that a male-based workplace can make you feel like a minority. In fact you are. Don’t let this compromise your natural ability to speak up and see things like the strong female leader that you are. Learn to recognize the strengths around you, the daily challenges, and how to change the negatives.

Your female instinct leads you to sense whether someone is trustworthy or not, so take advantage of that. We will discuss the ways in which you use your gut and how that applies in working with others or building a team. One of the assignments will refer to Lencioni’s “5 Dysfunctions of a Team” which pings on trust, or lack of it.

Let’s talk about ways to adjust the interpretation of events in your path and how to take yourself through a way to keep things from being personal. We will also ask you to inventory what puts you in a good mood. Then we will bottle and sell it.

• MODULE 5: The Valuable You: Creating An Image That Shines

Let’s work on you, you, you. Consider yourself something that someone would go to great lengths to purchase. What would your advertisement say about our value and your assets. We find it a valuable exercise to spend time on knowing what you have to offer, as well as any speed bumps that may get in your way.
